Sri Lankan bowlers have made a tremendous impact on what has been considered as unusual bowling action. First, it was Lasith Malinga's bowling action that had grabbed eyeballs when he had burst on to the international arena back in 2015. Nonetheless, Malinga went on to have a successful cricketing career as he has featured in four World Cups and he still continues to play for the Lankans in T20Is. Well, that was the fast bowling department and now, fast forward to 2019 and the world has seen a spinner with an unusual bowling action. His name is Kevin Koththigoda.

Kevin Koththigoda's strange bowling action steals the spotlight

You have heard that right. A Sri Lankan leg-spinner named Kevin Koththigoda's awkward bowling action had grabbed everyone's eyeball in the ongoing T10 League. Koththigoda represents the Bangla Tigers in the T10 League and he was seen bowling with a strange as well as an unusual bowling action during the Tigers' match against Deccan Gladiators on Saturday. Normally, when a mystery bowler bowls for the first time, the batsmen have no clue about how to tackle and they end up getting bamboozled but it was not the case with the Gladiators batsmen as veteran all-rounder Shane Watson tackled  Koththigoda with ease during his cameo knock off a 25-ball 41. It was not a good game for the Sri Lankan leggie as he was only given two overs to bowl where he gave away 22 runs and went wicketless at an economy rate of 11. The video of Kevin Koththigoda's bizarre bowling action was also posted on social media. Watch it right here.
