Virat Kohli has been going through a tough phase with the RCB languishing at the bottom of IPL points table. Royal Challengers Bangalore suffered their sixth consecutive defeat against Delhi Capitals at home on Sunday.

Reacting to the performance of RCB in the ongoing IPL contest, former English skipper Michael Vaughan took to Twitter and suggesting India to let Virat Kohli 'take some time off' for the World Cup 2019. In his tweet, Vaughan wrote, "If India are smart they rest Virat Kohli now for the World Cup". 

Social media users responded to Vaughan's advise and opined on Virat Kohli's current performance during the ongoing season. While some of agreed with him on allowing Kohli to take 'rest', others contradicted saying that 'it's not the time'.

On Sunday, Kagiso Rabada pick of the bowlers with figures of 4-21 in his four overs at an economy of 5.25. Skipper Shreyas Iyer anchored Delhi's run chase with a superb knock of a 50-ball 67 which helped his side get past the finish line by four wickets.

While Virat Kohli could offer some resistance among the batsman with his 33-ball 41, RCB could not manage to defend the score of 149.
