Middlesex Cricket signs Miguel Cummins for three years in Kolpak deal
Middlesex Cricket which is a county cricket team in England, has signed 29-year-old West Indies pacer Miguel Cummins for three years under a 3-year Kolpak deal
As per reports, Middlesex Cricket which is a county cricket team in England has signed Windies player Miguel Cummins for three years under a 3-year Kolpak deal. Cummins' long term contract with Middlesex shall end after the completion of the 2022 season. The 29-year-old pacer had managed 8 first-class wickets during his brief innings with Middlesex earlier this year.

Reportedly Cummins' long term contract with Middlesex shall end after the completion of the 2022 season. Confirming the contract, Middlesex's managing director of Cricket, Angus Fraser has said that Stuart Law recommended that they get Miguel over to have a look at him on the back of the time that he spent with him while he coached the West indies. Angus further said that he had watched Miguel on a video but it is often only when one sees someone play live that one gets a true reflection of their capabilities and he was immediately impressed by Miguel. The 29-year-old pacer had managed 8 first-class wickets during his brief innings with Middlesex earlier this year. In an official statement, Fraser had said that during a recent spell he had with Middlesex he fit in really well and shall be a popular member of the team. Cummins had featured in 11 One Day internationals and 14 Test matches for West Indies.
About Cummins
Miguel Lamar Cummins is a Barbados cricketer who has played 11 One Day internationals and fourteen test matches for the West Indies. At the domestic level, he plays for Barbados and has played for Antigua Hawksbills and the Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel in the Caribbean Premier League. Cummins' good performance in 2013 had led to his selection for West Indies A in two series later. He had played a single match up against Sri Lanka in June and then six matches which were with both first-class and limited-overs against India A when the west country played in September on the tour.
