Naveen-ul-Haq added to Afghanistan's World Cup squad, Swiggy takes savage Virat Kohli dig
Naveen-ul-Haq got involved in a heated quarrel with Virat Kohli, who was continuously poking him and his Lucknow Super Giants teammates.
The fiery altercation between Virat Kohli and Naveen-ul-Haq became the most talked about subject during the 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). During a match between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore at the former's home ground, Naveen-ul-Haq got involved in a heated quarrel with Kohli, who was continuously poking him and his teammates. Kohli's conduct was simply a reaction to the incident that took place in their reverse fixture in Bengaluru. LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir was seen sushing the Bengaluru crowd after defeating RCB a few days earlier.

Swiggy takes a savage 'Virat Kohli' dig at Naveen-ul-Haq
Following a series of disappointments for RCB after the above-mentioned incident, Naveen-ul-Haq turned to social media to convey his feelings. The Afghanistan cricketer tactfully utilized the platform to share a post about delicious mangoes, subtly hinting at RCB's less-than-ideal performance in their subsequent games. Naveen-ul-Haq faced a lot of backlash on social media for his post including from verified Indian handles.
Food delivery company Swiggy joined in and trolled Naveen-ul-Haq after Mumbai Indians knocked out Lucknow Super Giants from the IPL playoffs. Swiggy has once again taken a jibe at Naveen-ul-Haq after news of his inclusion to Afghanistan's ODI World Cup squad emerged. "Can't wait to see Cheeku make mango shake on Oct 11," Swiggy wrote on Twitter. India are scheduled to play Afghanistan in the upcoming ICC Men's Cricket World Cup on October 11.

Naveen-ul-Haq's bumpy ride with Afghanistan cricket team
Naveen-ul-Haq was missing from Afghanistan's squad for the Asia Cup 2023. He was not included in the team due to unknown reasons. However, he has been called up for the upcoming World Cup, scheduled to be held in India from October 5 to November 19. Naveen's latest One Day International (ODI) outing dates back to January 2021 when he faced Ireland. Despite his relatively limited exposure to international cricket, the 23-year-old has impressively secured 14 wickets in just seven ODIs, boasting an economical bowling rate of 5.78.
