The master blaster Sachin Tendulkar has congratulated the top-notch middle-order batsman Ajinkya Rahane for his newborn with a hilarious tweet. Terming the joy of having a child 'unparalleled', he also asked the test vice-captain to brace himself for 'New role of a night watchman'.

Ajinkya Rahane and Radhika Dhopavkar were blessed with a baby girl on October 5.

Harbhajan Singh also wished the couple

Former cricketer and ace-spinner Harbhajan Singh also penned his heartiest congratulation as he wished the new parents. Singh took to Twitter and said the 'fun part of life starts now ajju (Ajinkya)'.

The test vice-captain of India, Ajinkya Rahane finally got to meet his newborn baby on Monday. The 31-year-old cricketer was in Visakhapatnam for the ongoing test series between India and South Africa when his daughter was born. Rahane took to Twitter and shared an adorable picture with his wife and baby.

Tendulkar congratulates Team India

After India had registered a convincing 203-run win over South Africa, Sachin Tendulkar came forward to congratulate the Virat Kohli-led side. Taking to the micro-blogging site, the Master Blaster hailed India for going 1-0 up in the series. Chasing a target of 395, South Africa was 11/1 at stumps and when they resumed their innings on Day 5, their chase never really took off as the Indian bowlers picked up wickets at regular intervals reducing them to 70/8.
