The odds are in Pakistan's favour

The match is favouring Pakistan. Not only is the home ground advantage and crowd support a factor in Pakistan's positive momentum but also the squad which consists of familiar names. Sri Lanka, on the other hand, have a heavily inexperienced squad. The regular ODI skipper, Dimuth Karunaratne, stepped out of the tour citing security reasons. Players like Niroshan Dickwella, Kusal Perera, Thisara Perera, Lasith Malinga, and Dinesh Chandimal stepped out of the tour for the same reasons too. 

According to reports, the match will play its length out as weather in Karachi seems to have cleared up and is predicted to be sunny. The pitch is something that cannot be predicted and it will be a safe decision to bowl first on winning the toss.
