Among the hundreds of fans who had commented on Ashwin's post, comedian Sourabh Pant commented too. Sourabh's comment was the exact depiction of the observant mind of a stand-up comedian. "Complicated way to ask for DRS.", it read. If one comes to think of it, Ashwin's manoeuvre does resemble the symbol captains make whenever they ask for a review. Sorabh's comment got lost in the torrents of comments on Ashwin's post but one fan did reply with a 'LMAO.'

Bright days for Ashwin

Ravichandran Ashwin had been down and out until recently but the Tamil Nadu player has made a comeback only few could dream of. Ashwin was the highest wicket-taker in India's whitewash of the South Africans in October. Talks were also revolving around Ashwin being dropped by the team he captains in the IPL, Kings XI Punjab. Not only was he not sold but the team management also came forward and established the fact that he was a valued member of the team and someone that the team believes in. Ashwin picked up three wickets in the two matches he played in the 2019-20 Deodhar Trophy.
