Rishabh Pant: Which bat does the young wicket-keeper batsman use?
Wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant signed a three-year multi-crore deal with cricket equipment manufacturers Sanspareils Greenlands (SG) in December 2016
Rishabh Pant is the most talked-about youngster in the cricketing world. He is expected to fill MS Dhoni's void in the team after the former captain retires. The left-handed attacking batsman came into fame with his stelling IPL form a few seasons ago. Superstar wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant signed a three-year multi-crore deal with cricket equipment manufacturers Sanspareils Greenlands (SG) in December 2016. Over the past three years, Pant was seen endorsing SG cricket equipment across all formats of the game, Professional Management Group (PMG) released a statement about it in December 2016.
The Delhi Daredevils star and Indian Cricket team keeper came into fame three years ago when he hammered the fastest hundred in Ranji Trophy, touching 100 runs only in 48 balls against Jharkhand. He became only the third youngest Indian to score a First Class Triple Century. Rishabh that year was among the leading run-scorers in domestic cricket. According to Pant, SG has been providing quality equipment to players all over the world, and he is proud to be associated with a brand.
'Rishabh needs to find his form'
Rishabh Pant, who turned 21 this year, has been struggling with his bat recently. He could become the first choice wicket-keeper as MS Dhoni plans to put his gloves down. Pant needs to find his form during South Africa's tour of India, in a recent interview with a sports channel head coach Ravi Shastri commented on the keeper's form. He also said that the team will let him play in his natural form but at times when he plays an irresponsible shot alike the one against West Indies, he would be mentored.
Rishabh Pant has made a name for himself in IPL but is yet to leave a lasting impact in International Cricket. He usually gets criticised on social media for giving his wicket cheaply now and then. The Indian cricket team will have high hopes from Pant in the future.
