Rohit Sharma, the Indian ODI vice-captain, is known for his power hitting and during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, he scored 648 runs in 9 games with an average of 81. Hitting five centuries, he became the first batsman in the World Cup to achieve this feat in a single edition. Rohit just fell 27 runs short of becoming the highest scorer in a single edition of the World Cup, a recrod held by Masterblaster Sachin Tendulkar, who scored 673 runs. Rohit’s Bollywood Connection
Bunty Sachdeva, owner of Cornerstone Sport and Entertainment, has been known to handle professional engagements of many celebrities, including sporting stars and Rohit Sharma is one of them, but Rohit’s case was personal. The cricketer got engaged to Bunty’s cousin, Ritika Sajdeh, in a private ceremony in Mumbai. Bunty and Ritika are first cousins but she is just as close to him as his sibling, Seema Khan, who is married to Sohail Khan. So as Seema Khan and Ritika Sajdeh are cousins, Rohit has been connected to Salman Khan’s brother - Sohail Khan. When Rohit and Ritika became parents to a baby girl, it was Sohail Khan’s wife Seema who broke the news.

Rohit and Ritika's love story is full of young romance, a long courtship period, followed by a fairytale proposal and star-studded wedding. They dated for six years before Rohit proposed to Ritika. They tied the knot in December 2015, in a grand wedding at Taj Lands End, Mumbai.
