Sachin Tendulkar had showered praises on Steve Smith for his complicated technique while batting with an organized mindset as he scored his third double century
Sachin Tendulkar is undoubtedly one of the best cricketers of world cricket who has gone on to achieve a lot of milestones in his 24-year illustrious cricketing career. Sachin is also the highest run-scorer in both ODIs and Test cricket at the moment. In ODI's, Sachin Tendulkar has scored 18,426 runs in 463 matches which includes 49 centuries. When it comes to the longest format of the game, Sachin Tendulkar has scored 15,921 runs in a record 200 games. Meanwhile, the Master Blaster has showered praises on Steve Smith for his excellent knock. Steve Smith has proved why he is arguably the best Test batsman in modern-day cricket after his stellar double-century against arch-rivals England in the fourth Test match of the ongoing Ashes series at the Old Trafford in Manchester on Thursday. Coming into bat after Australia were reduced to 28/2, Steve Smith ensured that his side did not lose the plot as he steadied the Australian ship. Smith's stupendous knock also ended up impressing Sachin Tendulkar.

After Steve Smith scored a brilliant double century against England at the Old Trafford in Manchester, Sachin Tendulkar came forward and lauded the former Australian skipper's technique. Taking to the micro-blogging site, Sachin Tendulkar wrote that 'COMPLICATED TECHNIQUE' but an 'ORGANIZED MINDSET' is what sets Steve Smith apart. Sachin Tendulkar then termed Smith's comeback as Íncredible'.

Steve Smith in the form of his life
Steve Smith continued his splendid form in the ongoing Ashes series as he scored his third double century against England. Smith had also raced his way to 26th Test hundred as he not only surpassed Virat Kohli but also Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar to become the second-fastest batsman to 26 tons in the game's longest format. Steve Smith scored a 319-ball 211 which included a couple of lifelines. After Archer had dropped him off his own bowling, Smith was dismissed by Jack Leach for 118. Unfortunately, replays showed that Leach had overstepped and he came back to the crease. In the end, Smith's double ton helped Australia reach 497/8 post which they declared their innings. Smith now has 589 runs in this Ashes series.
