Indian women cricket team recently defeated West Indies women by 10 wickets to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the five-match T20I series. Opening the innings, Indian batswomen Smriti Mandhana carried on her rich vein of form from the ODIs by scoring an unbeaten 30. In the third ODI, Mandhana also scored a match-winning 74 from just 63 balls as the visitors pocketed the three-match series 2-1.

Smriti Mandhana reveals her favourite footballer between Messi and Ronaldo

The left-handed batswoman recently took to her Instagram account to interact with her fans. During the interaction, one of her followers asked her to pick her favourite footballer between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Even though football fans all over the world have been debating who is superior among the two for a long time, the Indian cricketer was pretty clear on her answer as she picked Ronaldo over Messi.

Smriti Mandhana is all set to step onto the field for the upcoming third T20I against West Indies. Having represented team India in 51 ODIs and 64 T20Is, the left-hander has scored 2,025 and 1,441 runs respectively in both formats. In the recently concluded ODI series against the hosts, the 23-year old also became the third-fastest cricketer to score 2,000 ODI runs. Mandhana achieved the feat in her 51st ODI innings.
