Former New Zealand skipper Stephen Fleming has said that different types of players will be needed for the T10 contest. Speaking to media on the sidelines of the player's draft which happened in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, the Chennai Super Kings coach said that compared to T10, even T20 looks slower.

Fleming, who will be the head coach of The Delhi Bulls, in the upcoming Abu Dhabi T10 league said that that he will be up for the challenge the format has to offer. He also said that he wants the players to express themselves.

Fleming has come up with a strategy to pick different types of players for this format. According to the coach, the strategy needs to be implemented properly and the players need to get their eye in from the very first ball. The 46-year-old also said that there will be a lot of challenges to adapt to the format and the team needs to play a positive brand of cricket and need to implement strategies as the time is very short.

Fleming has welcomed the International Cricket Council's (ICC) new Super over rule, scraping boundary count to decide the winner in the case of a tie. Speaking to various media publications, he said that the damage is already been done and it was a case of so close but yet so far. New Zealand had lost the 2019 World Cup final to host England on superior boundary count rule.

Delhi Bulls previously known as Bengal Tigers signed Eoin Morgan as their skipper for this year's edition. Morgan recently led England to their maiden ICC Cricket World Cup. The Abu Dhabi T10 League is scheduled to be held from November 14 to November 24 at the Zayed Cricket Stadium.
