English pacer Stuart Broad dismissed Australian batsman Usman Khawaja on the second day of the fifth Ashes 2023 and completed his 150 wickets vs Australia.
The English cricket team was not able to regain the prestigious Ashes urn after the Manchester Test of the 2023 series ended in a draw. Rain played a spoilsport on Day 5 of the fourth match and not a single ball was bowled throughout the day. The World Test champions retained the coveted 'urn' for the fourth consecutive time and also will look forward to win the series in the fifth match being played at the Kennington Oval ground in London.

Stuart Broad's clever tactics to dismiss Marnus Labuschagne
English cricket team pacer Stuart Broad played some clever mind games with Australian batter Marnus Labuschagne that broke his concentration and ended up edging the ball to the slips for a score of 9 runs off 82 balls. The incident was captured by cameras in which Broad can be seen walking up towards Labuschagne and flipping the bails of the stumps.
Marnus Labuschangne, who is also known for his mind games, smiled on this occasion and edged the very next ball he faced from English pacer Mark Wood to the slips. Labuschagne was left stunned after the incident whereas Stuart Broad celebrated the wicket with his captain Ben Stokes.

Stuart Broad continues his good form in Ashes 2023 series
Apart from playing mind games, Stuart Broad continued his dream form with the ball in the Ashes 2023 series and took the wickets of Usman Khawaja and Travis Head after Lunch on Day 2 of the fifth Test. Khawaja's dismissal was Broad's 150th Test wicket against Australia.
The English cricket team was in a suitable position to win the fourth Ashes 2023 Test in Manchester and the bowlers had kept the Aussie batsmen under the pump. However, the rain didn't let the hosts keep their hopes alive to regain the Ashes trophy as the match was drawn and Australia retained the urn.
