Telugu TV actor Prashanthi, five others booked for ‘creating nuisance’, ‘threatening’ spectator during IPL match in the stadium

A fun outing at a stadium to watch Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Kolkata Knight Riders got Telugu TV actor Prashanthi in trouble as she along with five persons were booked for ‘creating nuisance’ allegedly in a drunk state and abusing, threatening a spectator and obstructing him from watching the match.

A fun outing at a stadium to watch Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Kolkata Knight Riders got Telugu TV actor Prashanthi in trouble as she along with five persons were booked for ‘creating nuisance’ allegedly in a drunk state and abusing, threatening a spectator and obstructing him from watching the match.

As per reports, a person named Santhosh Upadhyay, Vice President of Bharath Financial Inclusion Limited claimed the alleged persons at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Uppal got ‘drunk’ in the corporate box. CCTV footage and some screengrabs of the persons were also shared widely on social media   

According to ANI, the complainant claimed that the persons ‘created nuisance’ and ‘obstructed’ him from watching the match. In his complaint, he also stated that he was ‘abused’ and ‘threatened with dire consequences.’ The official Twitter handle wrote, "Hyderabad: 6 persons including Telugu TV actor Prashanthi booked for creating nuisance & obstructing a person from watching IPL match at Uppal stadium. Complainant said accused didn't allow him to watch match & also abused & threatened him with dire consequences. Probe underway."

"We have registered a case under section 341, 188 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and further investigation in the matter is underway," the police said, as per a report on ANI.

K Purnima, K Priya, V Srikanth Reddy, L Suresh, and G Venu Gopal are the other persons who have been booked. 

Meanwhile, SRH registered a convincing win over KKR to enter the top 4 of the  IPL table. With 10 points from 9 games, the team is in with a good chance to make the playoffs.
