'This could be my last...': R Ashwin makes a bombshell admission after World Cup inclusion
Indian cricket team off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin in a recent interaction with Star Sports has come up with a revelation about his future after CWC 2023.

Veteran Indian cricket team spinner Ravichandran Ashwin made a last-minute entry in the Indian team's squad for the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023. Ashwin replaced injured Axar Patel, who sustained a left quadriceps strain during the 2023 Asia Cup. Adding Ashwin as a replacement has given a significant boost to the Indian team and also strengthened its bowling attack.

Ravichandran Ashwin opens up on his future plans after ODI World Cup
Ravichandran Ashwin, while speaking in an interview with Star Sports, opened up about his plans after the 2023 ODI World Cup and believes that the CWC 2023 will be his last World Cup. Ashwin said in the interview:
Being in a good space, enjoying this tournament will keep me in good stead. This could be my last World Cup for India, so enjoying the tournament is of utmost importance.
How will R Ashwin's inclusion in the ODI World Cup squad benefit India?
Ravichandran Ashwin is prominent for his showcase in the Test format and is currently the number-one bowler in that version of international cricket and has achieved a lot of milestones in the red ball format. However, the right-hand off-spinner who was part of the 50-over team until MS Dhoni's captaincy hasn't played much ODI cricket since Virat Kohli took over as captain.
