Ahead of the start of the 3rd ODI between India and Australia, Wasim Jaffer has shared a hilarious meme that according to him portrays the current situation of Team India. The Ind vs Aus series was touted as the perfect medium to test all the possible combinations before the World Cup and thus some of the premier names were missing from the squad in the first two ODIs. For the 3rd ODI though, the composition will be different as big names are set to make their way back.

After a flawless performance under the captaincy of KL Rahul in the first two ODIs, Team India's playing XI will undergo a complete transition for the 3rd ODI. Before the start of the series, chief selector, Ajit Agarkar, had conveyed that the 3rd ODI will likely feature the same team that will contest for the biggest trophy in the sport. Thus, as per the planned modification, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, and Kuldeep Yadav have joined the team after being rested for the first two ODIs. Moreover, Jasprit Bumrah has also returned after taking time off from the 2nd ODI.

The additions will propel many substitutions and hence the situation has prompted former India player and domestic legend Wasim Jaffer to sum up the circumstances. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli back in the squad

With the arrival of Rohit Sharma, he will resume his duties as the squad general, and with him, Pandya will likely play the role of the deputy. With the incomings, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Surayakumar Yadav, and Prasidh Krishna will ostensibly make way for the foremost men. Aside from this swap, Shubman Gill and Shardul Thakur might be rested in the 3rd and final ODI. The match will take place in Rajkot, and the usual 1:30 PM IST is marked as the time when the first ball will be bowled.
