Rohit Sharma's remarkable feat will remain etched in his name forever in the cricket history books. The ace Indian became the 6th Indian batsman ever to cross the 10000 runs hurdle in ODI cricket. He achieved this grand record against Sri Lanka in the second Super Fours match of the Asia Cup in Colmbo on Tuesday.

Rohit Sharma breaches another record against Sri Lanka
Rohit joined an elite list which incidentally has alll the past Indian captains in Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid. The Mumbai Indians skipper is also the 15th player overall to reach the 10000 mark and became the second fastest player ever to register this feat. The Indian captain brought up the record in style as he hit a six of Kasun Rajitha and in the proceedings surpassed Shahid Afridi to become the highest six hitter in the Asia Cup.
