Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma celebrated their first Diwali together post marriage on Wednesday. The couple, who got married in December 2017 in a grand event in Italy, enjoyed the festival of lights together.

In a post shared by Kohli, the couple could be seen standing at a balcony together, with the house filled with lights. The Indian skipper posted a message along with the photo, which read, "A very happy and prosperous Diwali to everyone from our home. Wishing everyone peace, happiness and good health. God bless. 🙏😇❤ @anushkasharma"

Recently, Anushka Sharma, in an interview with a magazine, revealed that life after marriage with Kohli doesn't feel much different, and that the couple barely get any time to spend with each other.

"Marriage doesn’t feel different. Virat Kohli and I have been working around the clock, we hardly spend time together, we both have very hectic lives. So, we are living in a house and we have spent barely any time in it. For us, home is, like, wow! It’s a vacation," she said.

In October, the adorable couple celebrated their first Karwa Chauth, which came hours after India's defeat to West Indies in the third of the fifth ODI of the five-match series at Pune. Kohli put the setback on the field behind, and posted a heartwarming picture with his wife Anushka on the occasion. "My life. My universe. Karvachauth @AnushkaSharma," his message on Twitter read.

Anushka also put out a post, terming Kohli as her 'everything'. "My moon , my sun , my star , my everything. Happy karva chauth to all," she wrote on Twitter on the occasion of Karwa Chauth.
