Virat Kohli interested to learn cooking after retirement from cricket
In an interview, Virat Kohli stated that he has always been a foodie and would be interested to take up cooking after his retirement from the game.

Being born and raised in Delhi, Virat Kohli was prone to delicious Punjabi and street food while growing up. While speaking with a leading news channel, the Indian captain, however, mentioned that he turned vegan in order to maintain his fitness levels. During the interview, the cricketer revealed how his obsession with being fit broke his enthusiasm for eating junk food.

Virat Kohli to learn cooking after retirement
When asked about whether he cooks his own food, the cricketer said that it is a skill he is looking to acquire. While speaking in detail, he stated that while he does not cook his own food, he does understand the flavour and how well it is served. Captain Kohli, however, did not rule out the possibility of learning to cook sometime in the future. He said that cooking is something he would definitely be interested in once he takes retirement from the game.

The cricketer was rested for the recently concluded home T20I series against Bangladesh. Under interim skipper Rohit Sharma’s leadership, team India went on to win the series after losing the first game in Delhi. Virat Kohli will now return to the playing XI for the upcoming Ganguly-Durjoy Trophy Test matches. The opening Test will be played at the Holkar Stadium in Indore from November 14 onwards. Captain Kohli will also lead team India in a historic first-ever day-night Test in the country when the two teams face each other for the final match of the series at Eden Gardens on November 22.
