It's Christmas cheer across the world on Tuesday, and even our very own Indian cricketers are enjoying the festive spirit. Virat Kohli and the members of his team as well ex-cricketers conveyed Christmas greetings to their fans on the occasion.
The Indian captain took to social media on the festive day to share a snap of the ‘Christmas treats’ he was enjoying on the occasion. He also asked his followers to make sure they enjoy treats like him.
From pastries to chocolates, the desserts looked mouth-watering. We’re not sure if it was cricket-themed as one of them looked like a season ball and another like a tiny stadium.
His wife, actress Anushka Sharma has reportedly set off to Australia as she was snapped early morning at the Mumbai airport. Her visit would surely be the best Christmas treat for the cricketer. Moreover, fans would hope for a Christmas selfie from the couple after their regular headline-grabbing selfies since their marriage.
Meanwhile, several other cricketers also took to social media to convey Christmas wishes. Yuvraj Singh’s wish also consisted of a request to ‘gift a smile to the less fortunate’ and make their Christmas shine bright.
Suresh Raina shared a lovely snap of him celebrating with wife Priyanka and daughter Garcia and a beautifully-decorated Christmas tree behind him. Shikhar Dhawan with wife Ayesha, Rohit Sharma and Cheteshwar Pujara also posed with the Christmas tree to convey festive greetings while Virender Sehwag had an interesting Christmas filter for his selfie.
VVS Laxman, Harbhajan Singh and Sourav Ganguly were among the others to send love, peace and happiness to their fans.
