VVS Laxman meets 'dancing traffic cop' Ranjit Singh; Posts message on Twitter

VVS Laxman met Ranjit Singh when he was recently stationed near the VIP gate of Holkar stadium, where India hosted Bangladesh in the first Test match.

The city of Indore is not only known for the Holkar cricket stadium but is famous for its beautiful bangles. It is also known as the 'food city' and now it has added one more attraction which is the “Dancing Traffic Cop”.  Yes, you heard it right and the man we are talking about is Ranjit Singh. He was recently stationed near the VIP gate of Holkar stadium, where India hosted Bangladesh. The traffic cop got a chance of meeting some of the former Indian cricketers which included Sunil Gavaskar, VVS Laxman.

VVS Laxman meets Ranjit Singh

VVS Laxman, who was in Indore recently for India vs Bangladesh Test series, took a picture with the policeman and posted on his Twitter handle. He wrote that it was a pleasure meeting the traffic police officer and praised him for his efforts.

According to a leading publication, VVS Laxman even joked with the policeman, saying that If an international fast bowler does as much activity as he does, even he will suffer from a knee injury. He asked him whether his knee is okay and from where he brings all the energy.

Ranjit with his reply stole the show as his witty reply suggested that he is very conscious about his fitness and has been doing this for the last 15 years.
