WATCH: Jasprit Bumrah's fiery bouncers and yorkers create havoc during India's net session
Jasprit Bumrah last played for India on September 25, 2022 in a T20I match against Australia. His return to Indian setup is certainly a good news for India
The much anticipated return of Jasprit Bumrah is finally on the cusp of the breakthrough as the Mumbai Indians fast bowler is all set to lead the Indian team in the upcoming Ireland series. Bumrah had to skip several tournaments as he wasn't a part of India's squad in the 2022 Asia Cup, 2022 T20 World Cup and the WTC 2023 Final. Bumrah will be eager to prove his fitness as his potential involvement will play a key role in the upcoming two major tournaments including the massive ICC ODI World Cup to be played in October-November 2023.

Bumrah's return will be a massive boost for Rohit Sharma and Co. who will be delighted with his inclusion. The onus will be on the Indian fast bowler to hit the ground as soon as possible. Initially, he could find it difficult to get back to his old rhythm but the player has been bowling in full force in the nets ahead of the first T20I international on 18th August.

BCCI shared a video where the pacer could be seen hitting immaculate line and length as he bowled a fiery bouncer to one of the Indian batsmen who ducked the ball.
The pacer also bowled few yorkers which bamboozled the batsman. This footage of Bumrah will be a breather for the Indian supporters who have prayed for the return of the Indian speedster. Social media has flooded with reactions as people are waiting in the wings to see the player back in action.

Bumrah will be rehearsing as the stage is set for him before he returns to the fold of the Men in Blue in a full fledged manner in the upcoming Asia Cup 2023.
