WATCH: Royal Challengers Bangalore unveil their new anthem ahead of their season opener

With just a few hours left for the 12th edition of IPL to commence, the Cricket fans will be all geared up for a blockbuster summer. Defending champions Chennai Super Kings will be up against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the MA Chidambaram stadium. Both teams will be led by two of the biggest sporting icons of modern day Cricket i.e. MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli.

However, before this Southern Derby takes centrestage, both teams have decided to take their social media influence to the next level. While overseas fans dedicated a flashmob for the 'Yellow Army', the Bangalore franchise decided to dedicate a special anthem for their fans.

Thrilled, RCB's premier spinner Yuzvendra Chahal to took to Twitter to praise this new anthem.

The IPL's broadcaster also took to Twitter to compliment RCB

The fans who have always stood by their team faithfully with 'RCB' chants even during their difficult phase will hope that this new anthem will be helpful in reviving the team's fortunes heading into this season as the Bangalore outfit eyes for its maiden title. RCB have made it to the summit clash thrice in 2009,2011 and 2016 where it was a case of so near yet so far.
