Suryakumar Yadav showcased his explosive batting prowess by launching an incredible assault on Australia in the ongoing second ODI at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore. The middle-order batsman scored an unbeaten 72 off 37 balls to help his team post a mammoth total of 399/5 in 50 overs. This is India's highest innings total against Australia in ODI cricket. During his remarkable knock, Suryakumar smashed four consecutive sixes off Cameron Green's bowling.

The breathtaking display unfolded in the 44th over of India's innings when Cameron Green took the ball. SKY wasted no time and welcomed him with a colossal six off the very first delivery, executing a flawless pick-up shot. The following ball received the same treatment, as Suryakumar elegantly scooped it over the boundary. On the third ball, SKY lofted the delivery over deep extra cover for yet another six. He concluded his remarkable display by dispatching the next ball over deep midwicket for a towering six.
The final two balls of the over yielded only 2 runs, but the damage had been done, with a total of 26 runs scored in that over. Thanks to the brilliant batting performance, Suryakumar managed to complete his half-century off just 24 balls.

Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul stun Australia
Apart from Suryakumar, KL Rahul, Shubman Gill, and Shreyas Iyer also played fantastic knocks to help India post their highest ODI total against Australia. While Gill (105) and Iyer (104) forged a 200-run partnership and scored a century each, KL Rahul (52) smashed his second consecutive half-century in the series. Meanwhile, the second innings of the match has been interrupted by rain. Australia are currently two wickets down for 56 runs in 9 overs. They need 400 runs to win the match and level the series 1-1.
