'We don’t really enjoy with Babar': Shadab Khan makes big statement after Azam's criticism

Pakistan came in as the No.1 ODI team in the Asia Cup 2023 and started with a win over Nepal. In an augmentation of the possible dispute between players, Shadab Khan has made a startling statement about his skipper Azam.

Shadab Khan reveals Team does not enjoy under Babar Azam's captaincy

After receiving some stern words from Babar Azam, Pak spinner and current vice-captain of the squad Shadab Khan has made a statement that solidifies the speculations of a rift among the players. Khan stated that Babar Azam has a different persona on and off the field. He said that other players do not enjoy under him however there is a problem outside of the ground and they get along very well when he is not on the ground dictating the players. 

"We don’t really enjoy with Babar on the field because he is a different person altogether over there, but we do enjoy with him off the field,” Shadab was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.

What did Babar Azam say about Shadab Khan?

Earlier Babar Azam expressed his say on Shadab Khan and said that his not picking wickets gives an outlook that he is not bowling well. However, made it known that he considers Shadab as one of Pak's best bowlers in the current side. Here's what he said.

"Shadab is bowling very well but he is not taking any wickets. So that's why you feel he is not bowling well. He is bowling well by unfortunately he is not taking any wickets. He is one of your best bowlers, Nawaz and Shadab."
