IND vs WI, 4th T20I
Chasing a target of 179 set by West Indies, which appeared challenging on the sluggish surface, both Jaiswal and Gill made swift work of the task. They stitched together a partnership of 165 runs before Gill departed for a commendable 77 in the 16th over. Jaiswal, however, remained in the middle and finished the game along with Tilak Varma.
Notably, both Jaiswal and Gill marked their maiden half-centuries of the ongoing T20I series against the Windies. India's captain, Hardik Pandya, lauded the young opening pair's performance in the post-match presentation. Earlier in the series, Jaiswal made his debut for India in Test cricket. He scored a brilliant century in the match.
