Brazil and Senegal met for a friendly match at the Singapore National Stadium on Thursday, October 10, 2019. This was PSG star Neymar Jr's 100th match for the Brazil national team. Tite's side got off to a great start away from home as Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino scored the opening goal. However, Senegal equalised just before the break courtesy of a Famara Diedhiou goal in the first-half stoppage time. Here is a report of the friendly played on Thursday.

Brazil vs Senegal: Roberto Firmino scores the opener in Singapore

Liverpool stars -  Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane - lined up against each other in the Brazil vs Senegal match at Singapore National Stadium. Firmino opened the scoring for the South American outfit as he ran on to a pass from Gabriel Jesus and managed to chip the ball past goalkeeper Alfred Gomis to give his side the lead. However, Senegal were awarded a penalty just before the half-time whistle as PSG defender Marquinhos brought down Sadio Mane. Both sides had chances to score a winner as Mane hit the post in the 85th minute. Brazil had to make do with a draw on Thursday and will next take on Nigeria in the second international friendly during the international break.
