The Carabao Cup, also known as the League Cup, is one of English Football League's premier tournaments, which takes place every year. It acts as a qualifier to the UEFA Europa League and the defending champions are Manchester City. The knockout tournament features five rounds which finally culminate into the semi-finals and the finals. The third round begins on Tuesday.

Defending Champions make a comeback

Manchester City take on Preston North End on 25 September 2019 at 12:15 AM IST. City won the 2018-19 edition with a win over fellow Premier League club Chelsea in the final at Wembley earlier this year. The match ended in a goalless draw at the end of 120 minutes, but City snatched the cup by winning the penalty shootout.

How to watch?

Unfortunately, the Carabao Cup will not be easily accessible on Indian TV networks. The official website lists Viacom18 and JioTV as the official broadcasters in India. If you are someone who was planning to watch the match on your mobile device, JioTV is fairly accessible to most people. But if you wanted to watch on television, the Carabao Cup fixtures are not on the list. In the past, the semi-finals and final have been broadcast on Vh1 and MTV.
