Carabao Cup: Chelsea vs Manchester United live streaming details

However, after an opening day drubbing against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Manchester United, Chelsea have gone on an impressive run of victories. In the absence of Eden Hazard, young English striker Tammy Abraham has stepped up for the Blues. The 22-year England international has netted eight goals for the Blues so far and sits on top of the goalscoring charts along with Manchester City's seasoned striker Sergio Aguero.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, on the other hand, has had mixed fortunes with Manchester United. The Red Devils sit perilously close to the relegation zone. Man United have seen Romelu Lukaku depart for Antonio Conte's Inter Milan, with Alexis Sanchez following the Belgian to the San Siro, albeit on loan. Their departures mean that United now find themselves light on firepower this season, at least till January. A January move for Juventus' Mario Mandzukic has been mooted, with the experienced Croatian bound to come cheap, having found his game time reduced this season in Turin. 

Chelsea vs United has always been an exciting match-up. However, despite their poor form in recent games, the Red Devils can take heart in their superior head to head record against Chelsea. Having put in a gritty display during the game against Liverpool, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will once again be hoping to tactically outsmart his rivals on Wednesday night. The EFL Cup fixture could see a host of changes from both sides. The match-up promises to be an exciting one, with talented youngsters on both sides looking to get some much-needed game time this season.
