Red Star Belgrade hosted Tottenham Hotspur at the Rajko Mitic Stadium in front of 42,000 fans on Matchday 4 of the UEFA Champions League. By full-time, Tottenham emerged clear winners as the final scoreline read 4-0. One of the most entertaining moments of the match came when the visitors got their opening goal in a very FIFA-esque manner.

Will it even go in?

The scoreline read 0-0 when in the 32nd minute Giovani Lo Celso passed the ball through to Harry Kane who tried a close-range goal only to hit the post. Son took a shot off the rebound which then deflected off a defender only for Dele Alli to try to gain the possession of the ball. The ball was lobbed back to Harry Kane who took another shot and missed again. This time though Lo Celso took a shot off the rebound and finally blasted the ball past Milan Borjan. The players rejoiced in front of a fascinated crowd who observed every moment of the thirty-odd seconds it took to score that single goal.

Tottenham proceeded to score three goals more as Son got two in a space of four minutes between the 57th and the 61st minute followed by Christian Eriksen's strike in the 85th minute. This was Son's first game after being involved in the incident that involved Andre Gomes' horrific injury in the Everton vs Tottenham game on Sunday. Son celebrated by making a gesture symbolising prayer and implying an apology to Gomes.
