Zinedine Zidane will be hoping that his Real Madrid side can secure three points when Fatih Terim's Galatasaray pay a visit to the Santiago Bernabeu on Matchday 4 of the Champions League. The last time these two sides met, Real Madrid needed an intervention from Toni Kroos to secure a win away from home. Real Madrid are currently second in Group A, while Galatasaray are bottom of their group, effectively squashing their hopes of qualification.
Champions League: Real Madrid vs Galatasaray preview
Speaking in a press conference ahead of the game, Galatasaray coach Fatih Terim said that any of the Real Madrid players are capable of making the game difficult for the opposition side. While that may be true, the Real Madrid stars have failed to shine so far this season. Luka Jovic, signed for close to €60 million in the summer, has scored just one goal for Los Blancos this season. Eden Hazard, signed from Chelsea for a reported fee of €100 million, has also failed to live up to the mammoth expectations of the Real Madrid supporters so far.

Four points from their opening three games in the Champions League is unlikely to make for good viewing for Real Madrid fans. Los Blancos succumbed to a 3-0 loss to PSG in their opening Champions League game, and have since managed one draw and one win in their Champions League campaign so far. However, Real Madrid are facing a side that have failed to score in seven of their last eight Champions League games. Eden Hazard and co. therefore have a glorious opportunity to drum up some form in this fixture.
Champions League: Real Madrid vs Galatasaray team news
Gareth Bale, Marco Asensio and Nacho Fernandez will not feature for Los Blancos in this game. However, apart from these injuries, Zinedine Zidane will have a close to the full-strength squad to choose from. Marcelo is expected to return to the left-back spot for Real Madrid, while Rodrygo Goes is likely to start in attack alongside Karim Benzema and Eden Hazard. Toni Kroos, Casemiro and Luka Modric are expected to start in midfield, after the trio started in Real Madrid's draw against Real Betis.
