Champions League: Toni Kroos scores a century of UCL appearances

Toni Kroos joined the elite club of players who made 100 or 100+ appearances in Champions League. The midfielder marked the big occasion with a winning goal.

Real Madrid visited the Türk Telekom Stadium to play their Champions League 2019-20 group stage match against Galatasaray on Tuesday night. Toni Kroos scored the only goal of the match and handed Real Madrid their first win of the Champions League 2019-20 season. Besides the winning goal, Toni Kroos reached a milestone in his career as he made his 100th Champions League appearance on Tuesday night. Kroos' goal to down Galatasaray made him the fifth player to score while playing their 100th Champions League match, after Cristiano Ronaldo, Pirlo, Thierry Henry and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
