Wayne Rooney’s wife, Coleen Rooney, has accused Rebekah Vardy (Jamie Vardy's wife) of leaking her personal information to The Sun. In a bold accusation, Coleen Rooney is said to have zeroed in on Rebekah Vardy after having blocked everyone except Rebekah Vardy from viewing her Instagram stories. She proceeded to post a series of bogus stories on her Instagram to see if they’d end up being published by The Sun; which they did. These stories included topics such as Coleen returning to TV, and about the basement flooding in her new house. Coleen then went on to tweet about on Wednesday morning, accusing Jamie Vardy’s wife of leaking these stories after claiming to have gathered enough evidence.

In her tweet, Coleen Rooney has claimed to have posted a series of false stories for over 5 months to see if these stories made their way to The Sun. In the last line, Rooney goes on to claim, “It's......... Rebekah Vardy's account.” Rebekah Vardy, meanwhile, denied any involvement in the incident and responded by saying that she had nothing to gain by selling stories about Coleen Rooney to The Sun. She also claimed that over the years, various people have had access to her Instagram account and that she’s found herself following people she didn’t know. Rebekah Vardy went on to state that she was upset that Coleen chose to publicly accuse her, especially during Vardy’s pregnancy.

AS Roma, meanwhile, have upped their social media game as always. In a cheeky retort to Coleen Rooney's accusation, AS Roma went on to tweet a picture of the club blocking Rebekah Vardy on their Instagram. Borussia Dortmund weren't one to be left behind, either. Dortmund tweeted a picture poking fun at the Rooney-Vardy incident, with a caption that says, "This has been a burden in our life for almost a year now and finally we have got to the bottom of it......" Fun fact, despite spending over four hours on the pitch together for the England national team, Jamie Vardy and Wayne Rooney have failed to create a single goalscoring chance for each other. Interesting.
