Cristiano Ronaldo, a recipient of a record five Ballon d'Or awards and four European Golden Shoe awards, has already tasted success which can be matched only by a handful of footballers. He is often considered as the best active football player in the world alongside Lionel Messi. Ronaldo plays as a forward for his Italian-based Serie A club Juventus and he is also the captain of his national team Portugal. He is the second-highest-paid footballer and one of the highest-earning athletes worldwide.

With the football season underway, football fever has reached its peak across all leagues globally. Be it UEFA, EPL, Serie A or La Liga, the game’s biggest superstars continue to compete for some of the biggest football prizes across the globe. With so much football action to look forward to, soccer fans worldwide have plenty of reasons to follow their favourite sport this season. Upcoming fixtures involving Cristiano Ronaldo

Serie A

Juventus are currently placed second in the Serie A points table. They have managed to win three out of their four matches so far. Their match against Fiorentina ended in a goalless draw while their most recent victory came against Verona with Ronaldo converting a 49th-minute penalty. Juventus upcoming matches include an away game against Brescia this Wednesday. Also, they have a match lined-up against SPAL this weekend. However, arguably the biggest game of the league will be contested on October 7 when second-placed Juventus faces off against table-toppers Inter Milan.

UEFA Champions League:

Juventus have only played one game in the ongoing Champions League so far. Their opening game against Atlético Madrid ended in a high-scoring draw. The Italian-based club is currently placed second in Group D of UEFA standings. They are set to face Bayer Leverkusen in their next Group D game. The match is scheduled to be held on October 2. Their subsequent fixtures are home and away games against Lokomotiv Moscow on October 23 and November 6 respectively.
