Juventus are unbeaten in Serie A 2019-20 with four wins and a draw in their first five games. The Old Lady's recent win came against Brescia with Miralem Pjanic scored the winner for Juve's 1-2 win. Mattia De Sciglio, Douglas Costa, Marko Pjaca and Giorgio Chiellini, remain on the sidelines due to injuries. Juventus’ main man Cristiano Ronaldo missed out against Bresica due to an undisclosed injury and his availability against SPAL is still in doubt.

SPAL are in the bottom half of the table with just three points in Serie A 2019-20. Their lone win came against Lazio with Jasmin Kurtic and Andrea Petegna's goals handing the side their only win.
