Durand Cup 2023 theme song to feature one of the biggest stars of Indian cinema

The 132nd edition of the Durand Cup will kick off in Kolkata as Bangladesh Army Football Team will take on the mighty Mohun Bagan Super Giant in the inaugural fixture. 24 teams will be participating in this refurbished version of Asia's oldest tournament which will be staged across three cities, Guwahati, Kokrajhar and Kolkata. The final will be played at iconic Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan on 3rd September, 2023.

Eminent actor Vicky Kaushal is set to feature in the Durand Cup theme song. The theme song will be launched on the eve of the start of world's third oldest football tournament

Durand Cup has emerged as a new stage for most of the football teams to hone their skills ahead of the gruelling season. This time two foreign teams from Bangladesh and Nepal will also rub their shoulders with the Indian clubs. Kolkata Derby, the epitome of Indian football, is scheduled to take place on 12th August.
