In the 15-minute clip, the Pachyderms that have since returned to the Dubare Elephant camp were seen kicking the ball in an open field. The elephant trainers sat on top of them, giving them directions on the ground. The Jumbos’ impromptu football match left the tourists visiting the camp amused and bewitched. The social media also went gaga over the Pachyderms’ foot skills.
The Dubare Elephant camp has 26 jumbos, and another camp nearby has 3. Six of these 29 elephants took part in the Mysore Dasara festivities, including Anekadalliro Vikram and Vijaya. The elephants in the camp have been a major tourist attraction, amusing them with their daily antics, frolics in the pond, jungle walks, and training. The elephants have been taught to bow, salute, and even race, much to the tourists’ astonishment.

Dubare Camp sources stated that the jumbos are training for the Mumbaro festival. The elephant camp is situated in Kodagu, Karnataka. The elephants from the camp are a regular fixture at the 10-day Mysuru Dasara festival, which begins with Navratri, and the main procession takes place on Dusshera.
