Top four favorites
Manchester City
Pep Guardiola-led Manchester City are once again the favorites to lift the EPL 2019. With Kevin De Bruyne back to peak fitness, City are definitely a force to be reckoned with. Although they were hit with a setback after the injury suffered by defender Aymeric Laporte, City will hope to push through and challenge Liverpool for the EPL 2019 trophy. After 6 matches, they occupy the second spot with 13 points. They trail Liverpool by five points.
Liverpool
European champions Liverpool have started the EPL 2019 season in full force. They have maintained their 100% record this year, having bagged 18 points already. Jordan Henderson & Co. scored a total of 17 goals and conceded five goals in the process. Jurgen Klopp’s squad will be a constant threat and have been one the best Premier League teams due to the famed attacking trio of Sadio Mane, Mohammed Salah and Roberto Firmino.

Tottenham Hotspur
Under the tutelage of the ecstatic, Mauricio Pochettino, Spurs have turned themselves into a formidable group of players. The North London club has one of the youngest squads in the EPL. Tottenham have bolstered their team with some quality additions in the transfer window such as Tanguy Ndombele, Ryan Sessegnon, Jack Clarke (sent out on loan to Leeds FC) and Giovanni Lo Celso. Having finished as runner-ups in the UCL last year, expect Spurs to pose a tough challenge to Liverpool and Manchester City over the course of EPL 2019.
Arsenal
They are often inconsistent in executing their game plans. However, things seem to be different under Unai Emery this season, having added some firepower in the form of the highly-rated Nicolas Pepe and Dani Ceballos (on loan). Arsenal fought hard in the North London derby against Tottenham to come back from 2-0 down and settle for a point against their fierce rivals. They also fought back against Aston Villa to win the match by 2-1 by just having ten players on their side. Keep a close watch on them in the English Premier League as they aim to get back into the top four.
