Serge Gnabry scored a hat trick in Frankfurt as Germany came from behind to thrash Northern Ireland 6-1 in their final Euro 2020 qualifier on Tuesday night and finish top of Group C. Take a look at the match report and player ratings.

Euro 2020 qualifiers: Germany vs Northern Ireland match report

Northern Ireland took a shock lead in the eighth minute through Michael Smith to stun the home team. But Serge Gnabry soon cancelled it with a fine turn and shot in the 19th minute before Leon Goretzka's 43rd-minute goal put the Germans ahead. Gnabry then drilled in their third straight after the restart. The 24-year-old winger then completed his hat-trick on the hour mark to take his tally to an impressive 13 goals in 13 internationals before Goretzka fired in his second of the night. Julian Brandt scored the sixth goal for Germany to complete the rout in stoppage time. The Germans finished on 21 points, two ahead of second-placed Netherlands.
