Hyderabad FC will start their Hero Indian Super League (ISL) season with a trip to Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan stadium to face ATK on Friday, October 25, 2019. Hyderabad FC will play their first-ever ISL match on Friday and the whole squad will be eager to start the competition on a high note and get the required three points to kick-start the season. Captain Kamaljit Singh before the match addressed that they have observed how the ATK played in their first match.

Hyderabad FC vs ATK: Phil Brown ahead of ISL game

Hyderabad FC manager Phil Brown while addressing the media said that he thinks that it's a rarity that a coach can sit before the first game and be able to talk about the opposition. He takes ATK playing first as an advantage and can learn something from the match. Phil Brown confessed that the whole team sat in the hotel room together to watch the match. According to him, ATK should have returned with something from the match. The coach said that they had the chance to score two or three goals in the match. But Brown has been focusing on his side since the past six weeks.

The 60-year-old stated that it a great game for Hyderabad FC away from home and he couldn't think of a better venue to play their first match. He further said that Kolkata is a fantastic city and they are going to play a team which has played brilliantly in the past. He also said that his focus is on his team's performance level rather than the opposition. He stated that ATK have a coach who understands the game and understands India but his big focus is on Hyderabad and the players he has. Hyderabad have prepared their team very well and are looking forward to their first game.
