ISL: Jorge Costa praises Mumbai City FC before Odisha FC clash
"There are some injury concerns but I'm happy with my squad of 25 players. I've plenty of options to pick my playing XI.” said Mumbai's coach Jorge Costa.
Mumbai City FC will play a host to Odisha FC for their Matchday 3 clash of ISL 2019-20. Mumbai will be playing their first ISL match at home, Mumbai Football Arena on October 31, 2019. Jorge Costa's side impressed everyone by clinching four points from their two away games. Ahead of the match, Costa praised his team by saying that they played two difficult games away from home and managed to get four points from the clash. He further said that they played both the games in less than 72 hours and he is very happy with all his players.

Jorge Costa explained that he is satisfied with the four points but would have been the happiest if Mumbai City FC would have won both the games. Mumbai City FC will be looking to grab the three points when they face the newly formed side. The Mumbai City FC boss stated that there is still room for improvement in the team, but he is very happy with the squad. Costa believes that there is a lot on, but he is happy with his players and that they need to work hard every day because that’s the only way to improve on a lot of things in the Hero Indian Super League (ISL).
Jorge Costa mentioned that the way in which they won their first game showed signs that his players work hard at everything. The boss made sure that all the players at the club are happy and are giving their maximum during games. It doesn’t matter to Costa that if they win, lose or draw as long as they can look each other in the eye after the game. While sharing his views on how the team has been practising up so far, the head coach mentioned that he has always said that he has 25 players and not 11 and that he is happy with all of them. He also admitted that they have injury problems in their first two games but when they tend to give their 100 per cent in every league game.
Mumbai City FC will take on Odisha FC on Thursday evening at 7:30 PM IST.
