Jose Mourinho returns to London as Mauricio Pochettino's replacement at Tottenham
Former Chelsea and Manchester United manager - Jose Mourinho - has been confirmed as the new manager of Tottenham Hotspur after Mauricio Pochettino's departure.

Tottenham Hotspur shocked the footballing world on Tuesday night when they announced the sacking of long-time coach Mauricio Pochettino following a string of disappointing results since the start of the 2019-20 Premier League season. Tottenham are 14th on the Premier League table with just three wins this year and face an uphill battle to make the top four in order to qualify for the UEFA Champions League next year. Ever since the announcement of Mauricio Pochettino’s departure, there was a lot of speculation regarding who will be his successor and 'The Special One' has landed in North London.

Will 'The Special One' start a new revolution at Tottenham Hotspur?
Jose ‘The Special One’ Mourinho has been officially confirmed as the new manager of Tottenham Hotspur as the club gave out a statement on Twitter on Wednesday. The likes of Julian Nagelsmann, Massimiliano Allegri, Niko Kovac, and other top managers were linked to succeed Mauricio Pochetinno but it was Jose Mourinho who ultimately convinced Spurs CEO Daniel Levy and got the job. Can the Portuguese tactician do enough to rescue Tottenham's disastrous season and guide them back to the top four?
It will be interesting to see how Jose Mourinho fares in North London, a city that he loves and adores owing to the years spent in Chelsea and his recent Premier League experience with Manchester United.
