The match will be played at the Turf Moor Stadium in Burnley. City are the favourites to win the match against the hosts.

Defending Premier League champions Manchester City have plenty of stars including Erling Haaland, Jack Grealish, Kevin De Bruyne, and the newly signed Joško Gvardiol. The fans will be steadily eying the performance of Gvardiol against Championship winners Burnley.  On the other hand Burnley, last featured in the 2021-22 edition and was promoted to the tournament after they won the Championship title. Burnley's manager Vincent Kompany, who also lifted a Premier League with City will be reuniting with his team.
