Manchester United vs Partizan: Match preview
Manchester United have only hosted Partizan Belgrade once at Old Trafford and the result was in favour of the Red Devils. Manchester United managed to win the 1965-55 European Cup semi-finals with Nobby Stiles scoring the only goal of the match. However, Manchester United did not make it to the finals as Partizan were leading 2-1 on aggregate. The visitors have only emerged victorious in one of their nine games against English sides while on road (L1 D7). The only win came against Newcastle, a 1-0 victory in Champions League qualifier in 2003.
Ole Gunnar Solskjær's side has not conceded a single goal in the Europa League this season. While Manchester United are solid in their defence, their attack is yet to show up in the competition as they have only scored two goals in three games so far. The Marcus Rashford-led attack has only managed one shot on target in their previous two Europa League matches. That being Anthony Martial's penalty against Partizan Belgrade on Matchday 3 of Europa League 2019-20.
