Marcus Rashford - From Stamford Bridge to the treatment table
Marcus Rashford's knee-slide celebration may have caused to him to sustain an injury. As a result, Rashford now remains a doubt for Manchester United's visit to Bournemouth. Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, however, does not believe that it was Rashford's celebration that caused the injury. In a press conference, Solskjaer went on to say that Rashford may have picked up the knock owing to a tackle, although it is difficult to pinpoint exactly which tackle led to the injury. When asked if he would ask his players to avoid sliding down on their knees in celebration, Solskjaer replied that he would not do so, as his players are free to celebrate however they wish, when they score a goal.
Whether Marcus Rashford sustained the knock owing to his knee-slide celebration or through a tackle, Solskjaer will be hoping that the 22-year old is fit to lead the line against Eddie Howe's side. Anthony Martial is back for the Red Devils. However, the French forward has recently recovered from an injury. Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof also remain doubts for the fixture, while Nemanja Matic, Paul Pogba and Luke Shaw remain on the sidelines.
