The French champions extended their winning streak to five matches in all competitions. Neymar scored the match-winning goal for his team against Lyon on Sunday.
Neymar is back to his best
The Brazil international is still trying to win back his fans' trust as he scored a goal in the 87th minute getting past Lyon goalkeeper Anthony Lopes. PSG played patiently till the end. This was the second time when he scored a winner for his team as he did the same during the clash against Strasbourg. Neymar helped his team to a 1-0 win in Ligue 1.
Neymar’s PSG won the midweek UEFA Champions League match against Real Madrid 3-0. Neymar did not feature in the match due to a ban he was carrying forward. He regards every PSG win as a step forward in what the team wants to achieve this season. Talking to the media about the clash against Lyon, he said that it was a difficult one. Neymar playing the vital role
Neymar has scored twice after his comeback from a turbulent few months of transfer saga. He has played a vital role to help Thomas Tuchel’s men win in recent games. The 27-year-old was rumoured to return to his former club FC Barcelona this summer, with Real Madrid being the other club as the striker's favoured destination. PSG forwards Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbappe are recovering from their respective injuries and Neymar had to prove his worth during their absence.
