Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer declined to offer an update on the club's pursuit of Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes on Tuesday, as they prepare to face Wolves in the FA Cup tomorrow evening.
United are reportedly in talks with the Portuguese club over a January deal for the 25-year-old, but Solskjaer indicated on Tuesday nothing was imminent.
"I've got no transfer updates," he said. "If we get something we can tell you about we will, but we've got no news now."
After a goalless draw at the Molineux Stadium in the original third round tie, Solskjaer will want to keep to winning ways after their comfortable 4-0 victory over Norwich in the Premier League last weekend.
The winner of this tie will face either Watford or League One side Tranmere Rovers in the fourth round.
