Raheem Sterling: KFC trolls Real Madrid, Manchester United over deals
KFC have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on Real Madrid's touted swap offer for Raheem Sterling while trolling Madrid and United in the process
The transfer rumour mill keeps on churning new stories day in and day out. While some links do sound credible, some sound plain bonkers. One such speculation suggested that Real Madrid were preparing a swap offer to try and sign Raheem Sterling from Manchester City. As crazy it sounds, KFC's Twitter account took part in the social media banter with a hilarious tweet trolling Real Madrid.
Raheem Sterling rumours: KFC trolls Real Madrid
As noted by the British media, the Spanish giants are said to be planning a £70m plus Gareth Bale bid for Raheem Sterling. Real Madrid have reportedly made the English attacker their prime target this coming transfer window and will be allocating scouts to watch him when he leaves for his international duty. However, it is also reported that Manchester City, and particularly their manager Pep Guardiola, have no interest in allowing Sterling to leave, who has been so crucial to Guardiola's tactics in the last few years.
The hilarious proposal was widely mocked and dismissed by fans on social media and now it seems even KFC has also joined the party trying to troll Real Madrid. As seen in the tweet above by KFC UK & Ireland, they brutally trolled the offer while also taking a sly dig at Manchester United midfielder Fred as they mocked the audacity of the reported move by Real Madrid. Though the audacity of the rumour can be questioned, it's really surprising that KFC managed to troll Real Madrid and Manchester United both at the same time.
Raheem Sterling rumours: City fans react
Only time will tell if an offer is made next year for Raheem Sterling and whether or not Manchester City will be open to the idea of selling their prized possession, but if an offer like the one mentioned is put forward, it’s safe to assume that they won’t be sitting down at the negotiating table for long.
