Serie A champions Juventus will be playing again this week when they host Genoa on Thursday. Their Serie A dominance has been challenged this season by an inspiring Inter Mila, led by one of Juventus's former managers, Antonio Conte. Maurizio Sarri cannot allow his side's performance to drop even though the fixture list appears to be stacked. The clash will be very interesting as Juventus failed to beat Genoa in the league last season, as they only managed a 0-2 away loss and 1-1 draw at home.

Serie A: Juventus vs Genoa Preview

Sarri's Juventus are pretty thin at the back as several defenders are injured at the moment along with fixtures coming thick and fast. Douglas is still out while Aaron Ramsey has just come back into training. Last week Sarri did emphasize that he had to give rest to most of his senior players to avoid fatigue. Juventus have looked very good as of late and it seems finally the side are playing the way Sarri expects them to. Paulo Dybala, after almost leaving this summer, is back into Sarri's plans and might have a major part to play in the game. Cristiano Ronaldo can also be involved as Sarri would like to avoid any setback.

Former Inter player Thiago Motta was recently appointed as the manager of Genoa and it'll only be his second game in charge of the club. He would definitely like to help Inter's bid to the league title by causing an upset against the Old Lady. Motta does have a talented squad at his disposal that includes new signing Lass Schone, former Juventus player Stefano Sturaro and on-loan youngster Andrea Pinamonti. Luckily for Motta, his side is almost injury-free for now and he would definitely require every weapon in his arsenal to take on Juventus
