Tottenham Hotspur have endured a tough start to their domestic campaign. However, Mauricio Pochettino's squad registered a 2-1 win against Southampton over the weekend to end their three-match winless streak across all competitions. Spurs will host Bayern Munich in their second UEFA Champions League tie at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on October 2, 2019. Here is the match preview for Tuesday night's match between two European giants in England.
UEFA Champions League: Tottenham aim for first win in this year's tournament
Mauricio Pochettino & Co. suffered disappointment in their first UEFA Champions League outing against Greek giants - Olympiacos FC. The 2018-19 UCL runner-ups surrendered a two-goal lead to play out a 2-2 draw against their Greek opponents a few weeks ago. Pochettino will hope that his side can remain consistent throughout the 90-minute match in front of the home fans on Wednesday. Expect the likes of Harry Kane, Heung-min Son and Christian Eriksen to play an important role against the Bavarians.
